The Academy approached me, and several other artists, to create key artwork for the 2022 season. As a movie lover, it was an honor to work on the project. We were provided the following prompt: "How do movies transform and inspire you?"

For me, there aren’t necessarily specific elements I can point to. More an overall effect. Films leave a residue in my mind and shape my experiences over time. This became my concept: many delicate strands forming a solid whole.
